A Batman Comic Masterpost
Batman is a superhero created by Bob Kane and Bill Finger, debuting in Detective Comics #27 in 1939. The character has gained worldwide recognition and has become an icon of not only DC comics but comic books as a whole. After the death of his parents, Bruce Wayne makes an oath to fight crime in Gotham. He is confronted with a rogue gallery of complex villains, including the psychotic Joker. Gaining the assistance of the Gotham Police Department, Batman fights the faces of crime in the city, gaining and loosing allies through the process.

Hand drawing references by Bethany Craig

*reblogs for reference*

Reblogged for extreme degree of usefulness.  I picked up a lot of useful things just from this one post, and I’m sure you will too.

Beth Craig (the source) also has this FOOT TUTORIAL, linked here for your convenience.

cleromancy:

That’s right, chums, it’s a Jason Todd Downloads Post!

A quick disclaimer: this isn’t a full masterlist. Jason’s been in a lot of shitty comics, lbr. But this is, in my opinion, a pretty solid list of post-crisis pre-reboot Jason appearances. If you want a more complete list, check out his comicvine page! It’s also very likely that I messed up an upload somewhere, so if you notice any mistakes, I’d love it if you let me know

If I missed any appearance that you feel is important, I highly encourage you to upload it yourself and add the link when you reblog.

Robin

Batman (408-427 parts 123); Detective Comics (this also includes pre-crisis Jason’s appearances; post-crisis Jason goes from 568 to 582; parts 123); NTT v2 (18-21, 24, 26-31); Tiny Titans (2329333947); Batman Annual 12Gotham Knights (34, 43-45); DC Retroactive - Batman: The 80sBatman: The CultBatman: The Brave and the Bold 13Superman 11

Resurrection/Red Hood origin

Red Hood: The Lost DaysBatman: Under the Hood/Batman Annual 25

The Red Hood

Outsiders (44-46); Teen Titans v3 29Nightwing: Brothers in Blood (this is in the ‘so bad it’s good’ camp. also pls join me in making tentacle jay jokes);  Robin (177, 182-183); Green Arrow (69-72); Batman and Robin (I’m only including Winick’s run lol. Jason’s suddenly a redhead, just go with it)

Other!

Flashpoint

There are a handful of other comics in which Jason features; I didn’t upload them because…I don’t think they’re very good comics. But if you’re interested, they are Batman: Hush and Countdown to Final Crisis. Morrison also wrote him badly in the first arc of the pre-reboot Batman and Robin. There is also Batman: Battle for the Cowl. But don’t read Battle for the Cowl. Seriously, don’t.
